About

Blitzburn is an asynchronous deckbuilding card game!  In place of turns, an energy system constantly ticks up, giving you the resources necessary in order to play cards to the battlefield. Save up and send an overwhelming force at once, or rush your opponent as fast as you can to conquer the enemy faction and win the war!

Details

Factions

The vast majority of cards are categorized into factions. These factions lean towards specific archetypes, to help give players a starting ground to create their strategy. While you're limited to only selecting cards from your faction, some cards are not specific to any faction, and can be chosen to help you create unique decks that expand beyond the standard archetypes!

Energy System

The energy system replaces a traditional turn-based system. If you stay inactive for a period of time, you will gain energy. This can be spent to play cards from your hand into the battlefield. In addition, the energy timer resets on any action performed, so choose your actions wisely! 

Minions & Spells

These make up the bulk of your deck. Use these cards to perform actions, such as attacking other minions or the player! Cards can have multiple attacks, and target enemy cards, ally cards, commanders, and players, so strategize! Left click to activate a card's primary ability, and right click to activate its secondary ability, if one is available.

Commander Cards

These are the standout cards of your deck. Commander cards completely transform the game and its strategies! These cards give you steady, consistent access to abilities that no normal cards can access, and cannot be KO'd. Choose your favorite and leverage its unique abilities to win convincingly or turn a game around!

Left Click - Draw card, activate card primary ability

Right Click - Deselect card, activate card secondary ability
